God is good!

I know some of you reading this just answered, “All the time!”      We have so many examples of how God has granted us favor as we work toward being fully funded for our future as missionaries in Colombia! In December, we launched a #31to50 campaign, aimed at increasing our monthly support to reach 50% in the 31 days of December. As the reports of December activity came in this week, we see that God answered our prayer! We are 50% funded for our monthly needs! We are thankful for our new ministry partners–both financial and prayer partners. We pray that God will bless you through your participation with Team Kim!

Blessings of the Season

● An anonymous giver dropped off a gift at our door Christmas Eve that included gift cards and cash. What a wonderful blessing as we live on faith and savings! It was a wonderful encouragement to the whole family. Praise the Lord!

● In listing our couch on Craigslist, we became a target for scam artists. Though Kyu lost an entire day running errands to fix the situation, we are extremely thankful the Lord prevented us from cashing a bad check that would have been extremely costly. Praise the Lord!

● We’ve had unusually warm weather in Ohio, which has kept our utility bills low, praise the Lord!

● As we think on how many of our ministry partners are giving sacrificially, their sacrifice on our behalf reminds us of the richness of God’s grace to us. Praise the Lord!

Prayer Requests

● Steady spiritual growth as a family

● Wisdom for Q&A to parent Lucia and Noelia through constantly changing circumstances and schedules

● New partnerships in prayer, finances and resources

● Fruitful interactions with individuals and churches

Upcoming Team Kim Appearances

January 11-14: Q&A will represent Camino Global at the Cedarville University Missions Conference. It will be exciting to be there as missionaries, since we both individually committed ourselves to missions as students at the 2007 Missions Conference.

January 23-24: We have the opportunity to visit a church in Indiana. It is a Spanish-speaking congregation, so this opportunity has a unique aspect that we look forward to: sharing our ministry vision in Spanish!

February 5-7: We have been invited to visit a church in North Carolina, where we will have the opportunity to interact with a congregation of Korean-Americans. (A note: Camino Global’s mission strategy emphasizes sending missionaries “from everywhere to everywhere.” What neat opportunities we have to make this happen in a small way.)

Kim Kids’ Corner

Lucia is excited to be back in preschool, and mentioned how much she missed her teacher several times over break!

Noelia just turned 2 and has been offering lots of hugs and kisses to Mamá, Papá, and Lucia (despite the protests!).
