About two weeks ago, Anna and I had the opportunity to share the good news that we are fully funded! So what have we been up to since then?
Paperwork…
For most people, the experience of going to a foreign country is typically short-term for vacation or for work. You pack what you need for the trip, go and then come back.
Not so simple when you plan on moving abroad long-term. It isn’t necessarily hard work, sometimes there may be some hurdles, but it is mostly tedious. There are financial paperworks that need to be sorted. There are also life stuff like insurance, will, etc. Most importantly for us is the visa paperwork.
I jokingly told Anna that Heaven is a place where we won’t need to fill out any more paperwork. As we thought about it though, there is truth in that. Heaven is a place that we get to enjoy because Jesus did the paperwork for us. Those who believe in His name and work get their name written in the book of life. All I know is that I’m not the one who is having fill out that form! It’s been written in by His work. Now that is a good deal 🙂
