Hope for a stump

For there is hope for a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that its shoots will not cease. Though its root grow old in the earth, and its stump die in the soil, yet at the scent of water it will bud and put out branches like a young plant. Job 14:7-9

I don’t know if you personally feel worn out and even dead like a tree stump or if you have people in your life you deeply care about that are shriveling away.

Have hope for a stump. John 4:14 says, “but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”

Continue to dig deep into God’s word. Continue to talk to God and ask for living water to flow into your life and of those you deeply care about.
